When will results show?
You may notice an initial "glow" shortly after your first session; however, the full transformative effects are seen one month after your second treatment. This is when the skin feels deeply rejuvenated, firmness is increased, and healthy laxity is restored.The visible boost typically lasts around six months. Because Profhilo changes the way your skin produces collagen for up to three months after your final dose, you may continue to see improvements in skin texture and firmness for even longer.
Is it safe?
Profhilo is a highly safe, biocompatible treatment. While you may experience a slight scratching or stinging sensation during the injection, the procedure is not considered painful. To ensure the best results and minimise bruising, it is strictly advised that no alcohol be consumed 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Are there any side effects?
As with any injectable, minor redness, swelling, or small bumps at the injection site may occur. These are temporary and usually subside within 24 to 48 hours as the product spreads evenly under the skin.
What is advised after the treatment?
