CRYOTHERAPY
Our advanced cryotherapy technique offers a safe, fast, and highly effective solution for removing stubborn skin imperfections. Using the specialised CryoPen device, we deliver a targeted freeze to the intercellular fluid of the lesion. This process forms ice crystals that disrupt and destroy the affected cells while ensuring the surrounding healthy tissue remains completely unharmed.
Cryotherapy is a premier choice for skin clearing because it offers extreme precision, providing a targeted treatment that only affects the lesion while sparing the healthy surrounding tissue. The procedure is incredibly efficient, with treatment times typically lasting only 5 to 30 seconds, making it one of the fastest clinical solutions available. Patients find the process virtually painless, experiencing only a quick, cold sensation with minimal discomfort, yet it delivers clinically proven and highly effective results for a smooth, clear skin surface.

Frequently asked Questions
What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a precision treatment used to remove common skin lesions, which are small brown or flesh-colored growths that sit on or hang from the skin’s surface. Usually ranging from a few millimeters to 5cm in size, these imperfections are composed of loose collagen fibers and blood vessels and can often look like warts or raised bumps. Using advanced CryoPen technology, we apply extreme cold to the lesion to freeze the internal fluid, creating ice crystals that destroy the affected tissue. This allows the growth to be removed quickly and easily, causing the lesion to naturally fall away while leaving the healthy surrounding skin unharmed.
When will results show?
The treatment itself takes only seconds, but the final results appear as the skin heals. Following the procedure, the lesion will typically darken and form a small crust or scab. This naturally sloughs off within 1 to 2 weeks, revealing fresh, clear skin underneath
Is it safe?
Yes, cryotherapy is a safe and established clinical procedure. However, it is not suitable for everyone. We do not recommend this treatment for clients who are pregnant, or those with uncontrolled diabetes, Raynaud’s disease, blood disorders, or certain autoimmune conditions. During your consultation, we will review your medical history to ensure this is the right solution for you.
Are there any side effects?
While the procedure is virtually painless, you may feel a slight stinging or cold sensation during the freeze, and the treated area may remain tender for a few days. Common side effects are mild and temporary, including slight redness, tenderness, or the formation of a small blister at the treatment site; if necessary, your practitioner will apply a dressing to protect the area and prevent infection. In rare cases, clients may experience a temporary change in skin pigment or a mild headache following the session.
What is advised after the treatment?
Most healing is straightforward, and you can wash and moisturize your skin as normal. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for the rest of the day and ensuring the treated area is kept clean and dry. It is essential to apply SPF 50 to any treated areas to prevent re-pigmentation. If you notice the area is still weeping after two weeks, please contact the clinic for further advice
