What is Aqualyx?
Fat-dissolving injections are compound solutions injected by a trained specialist to fatty deposits, which then gets flushed out naturally by the body. This is an alternative to liposuction.
How long before I see results?
Results are usually seen between 2 to 4 weeks. A few sessions will be required for areas of increased fat (e.g stomach, buttocks, thighs).
Can I exercise after the treatment?
We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for a week after the treatment.
Can Aqualyx tighten skin?
Yes, it has body contouring and skin tightening benefits.
Can it help with weight loss?
No, it is not a recommended treatment for weight loss
Is it painful?
It can cause discomfort. However, we numb the area and use a local anesthetic to help manage the pain.
What should I expect after the treatment?
There will be some mild swelling and bruising for three to five days. There may also be some tenderness, as it is an alternative to liposuction.
How many treatments are recommended?
Two to three treatments every other month for the best results.
