What is Skin Lesion Removal

Healing time after procedure
After your skin tag has been removed, the treated area may feel tender for a few days and will need to be covered. Your practitioner will apply a dressing if necessary to prevent infection and will also provide you with full aftercare instructions. What aftercare is advised?
Most healing is straight forward and occurs without any issues.
During the healing time you may shower / wash as normal and use your normal moisturizing cream.
We ask you to avoid heavy exercise or anything strenuous for the rest of the day. The areas that have been treated need to be kept clean and dry.
It is important that you use sun block factor 50 following treatment of any pigmented regions to prevent them re-pigmenting if the treated area is weeping after 2 weeks after treatment contact the clinic for advice.
